This is a Broad Spectrum CBD Oil from Boa Botanicals. This is a food supplement made with natural ingredients, and contains 0% thc.
The whole plant hemp extract into fractionated coconut oil (MCT) is a great way to get CBD into your system and it has no psychoactive effects.
Who is this CBD oil for?
Anyone who is looking for a low dose CBD, ideal for someone just starting out and wanting to try CBD OIl, and would like to take a stronger dose than the starter bottles. Also for those you don’t like the natural taste of the hemp based oils, this is a much nicer tasting oil. The use of MCT as a base it takes away that earthy taste that a lot of people don’t like.
It comes in a 10ml bottle with 500mg total CBD content per bottle.
This product is suitable for taking as Oil drops or alternatively as a natural CBD spray.
The usual pipette comes as standard in the bottle. However we also supply a spray atomiser, FREE of charge for you to swop in as needed.
Directions for Use
Shake up the contents of the bottle before use. We recommend starting with 2-3 drops of oil under the tongue morning and night using the pipette provided. Keep the oil under the tongue without swallowing for approximately 1 minute for maximum absorption, then swallow.
How much CBD should I take, and how often?
Customers who seem to benefit from this natural CBD Oil make it part of their daily routine and will split their dosage into 2-3 servings throughout the day (for example, morning, afternoon and evening).
However those who just need a low dosage may take it as part of their morning routine or take it right before going to bed.
CBD is recognised as safe for regular consumption and non-toxic, however there is currently no conclusive decision on the exact dosage that should be taken. For this reason, the FSA do not recommend exceeding 70mg of CBD per day.
For your own personal dose… it comes down to trial and error and finding the dose that works best for you. We recommend that you start low and slow, with just a couple of drops daily and then increase gradually until you find the dose which works for you.
Recommended doses vary from person to person and depend on factors such as:
- Body weight
- Product concentration (%)
- Reason for using CBD
You might be surprised at how little it takes, so take the time you need to increase or decrease your dosage until you hit the sweet spot
How long does CBD take to work?
How long it takes CBD to work will depend on your choice of CBD product, how you take it, and the cbd content.
If you take an oil, then typically speaking, you will normally take sublingually, it can take around 20 -30 mins for the desired effect to be felt. However, everyone’s physiology is different, so it could be more or less depending on your makeup.
Other ways such as CBD capsules can take between 1 to 2 hours before an effect is felt, and is considered a more slow release way of dosing.
Are Hemp Oil and CBD Oils the same?
No, they’re not. While they are both derived from the hemp plant ( Cannabis Sativa Plant ), the main difference between the two is that hemp oil contains virtually no CBD, which means it offers nothing like the same health support. Another difference is that hemp seed oil is made from hemp seeds (making it great for cooking), whereas CBD Oil is created from extracting CBD from the stalks, flowers and leaves of the hemp plant.
Can CBD be used for children?
It is advised not to give CBD Oil to anyone under 18 years of age, unless under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
Is CBD OK to use if I’m taking other medications?
As with all food supplements, we always recommend that customers talk with their GP first if they are taking any medication. Check whether CBD may interact with any you are taking.
